SUFFOLK, Va. — Ducklings were rescued after falling into a storm drain on Friday, the City of Suffolk Department of Fire & Rescue said.
Ladder 11 responded to a call reporting a mother duck circling in front of a drain after her duckling fell into the storm drain.
Firefighters were able to coax the ducklings down to another manhole cover and pull them out with a net provided by animal control.
All of the ducks were safely reunited with their mother.
