SUFFOLK, Va. — Two people are in the hospital after a car crash in Suffolk on Monday afternoon.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue said the single-vehicle accident happened on Route 58 at the Downtown exit shortly before 5:30 p.m. First responders had to remove one person from the car and take them to the hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency officials said a second person in the car suffered moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
