SUFFOLK, Va. — A man was injured after a shooting Wednesday, the Suffolk Police Department said.
Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 400 block of Wellons Street around 4:40 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in his leg. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials did not release any suspect information.
Suffolk police are currently investigating this incident.
