Police: Man killed in two-vehicle crash in Suffolk is now a homicide case

Suffolk police said the man's death is now classified as a homicide.

SUFFOLK, Va. — A man is dead and another is injured after a two-vehicle crash in Suffolk.

Police said the case is now classified as a homicide.

Suffolk Police and Fire-Rescue are at the scene of a three-vehicle crash in the 6000-block of College Drive. The call came in at 6:04 p.m.

An adult man, the driver of one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police identified him as 19-year-old Sidney Watson and said he suffered from a gunshot wound. The cause of death hasn't been determined. 

Watson's passenger, another man identified as 19-year-old Jaylon Marquis, also suffered from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was released from the hospital on Monday morning.

The second victim has been treated and is recovering from his injuries. 

There is no suspect information.
