SUFFOLK, Va. — A man was arrested in connection to a robbery in Suffolk.
The Suffolk Police Department said that last Wednesday, dispatch received a report about a robbery in progress at a bank on the 200 block of North Main Street.
When they arrived, police determined that a man had entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was brandished by the suspect. The teller complied and the suspect ran off in the direction of Saratoga Street with about $2,000, according to police.
No injuries were reported.
On Friday, Suffolk police identified the suspect wanted as 47-year-old Khadduri Trevan Brown.
Suffolk police arrested Brown on Tuesday. He's charged with felony robbery and felony wearing a mask in public as well as two outstanding warrants unrelated to the robbery. Brown is being held at Western Tidewater Regional Jail without bond.
