SUFFOLK, Va. — One person is seriously injured after a tree fell and crashed into a Suffolk home Tuesday evening.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the incident on Burnetts Way just after 6 p.m.
Crews said the structure of the home was badly damaged and one adult was taken to the hospital.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue said the tree fell due to the high winds during Tuesday evening's storms.
