SUFFOLK, Va. — A single-vehicle crash in Suffolk trapped a driver inside their vehicle early Monday morning, fire officials said.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue shared a Facebook post saying the driver struck a trailer and loading dock on Dill Road near Charlotte Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. Officials have not said what caused the driver to crash.
At the scene, crews found the driver trapped inside. Once crews managed to pull the driver out of the vehicle, the driver was taken to Sentara Norfolk General with injuries considered serious.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue said the building was not damaged in the collision.
