SUFFOLK, Va. — The Chartway Promise Foundation is granting a wish to a Suffolk 6-year-old kidney transplant recipient.
They're sending Joshua to Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida with their partner Make a Wish Greater Virginia!
Joshua, 6, recently had a kidney transplant. It's been a long few months for him and his family. There were a lot of things to figure out and people who jumped in to help without having to ask were key, Joshua’s dad explained.
Community is a part of Chartway’s mission, so they were excited to see Joshua light up, a Chartway representative said.
“This will be the best thing that has happened since he has been alive,” Joshua’s dad said.
