SUFFOLK, Va. — A car struck a building near Downtown Suffolk early Friday morning, Suffolk Fire-Rescue said in a social media post.
The crash happened in the 400 block of Wellons Street at a commercial building with an apartment on the second floor.
Firefighters responded at 6:54 a.m. and confirmed that the building's side was damaged. Crews shored the wall to temporarily protect the structure.
Suffolk Fire-Rescue didn't say what led to the crash, if the vehicle involved was still at the building by the time crews got there, or if anyone was hurt.
