SUFFOLK, Va. — Six people, including two children, are without a home after a camper parked near a Suffolk home ignited Tuesday, officials said.
In a social media post at 1:41 p.m., Suffolk Fire & Rescue said crews were at the scene on Adams Swamp Road, between Greenway Road and End Street. The blaze began to spread to the nearby home but was successfully contained and brought under control, officials said.
Photos of the scene show thick, dark smoke plumes consuming the camper which was completely burned in the fire.

Officials said the blaze started inside the camper but did not say what exactly caused it.
No one was reported injured by the fire. No other information was immediately released.
