SUFFOLK, Va. — Two people are in the hospital after a shooting at Heritage Acres Apartments in Suffolk just after midnight on Tuesday, police say.
Suffolk Police say they received a call just after midnight reporting a shooting victim in the 1000 block of Nansemond Parkway. A 39-year-old man was treated on the scene by Fire and Rescue and then taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Around 12:25 a.m., Suffolk police were notified by Sentara Obici Hospital that another man, a 39-year-old, walked into the emergency room with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigation revealed the incident that left both men hurt happened in the 1000 block of Nansemond Parkway.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing. They did not release any suspect details.
