PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a Sunday evening shooting.
At about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20, Portsmouth police responded to the call in the 2300 block of Jefferson Street, according to a press release from the Portsmouth Police Department. Officers found one man suffering from a gunshot wound, and the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
In addition, two other men were treated at a local hospital as walk-ins, the police department said.
