Some patients moved after water leak at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center emergency room

Until the leak is fixed, the hospital is working with other emergency medical services to ensure patients are taken to the facility that "can best meet their needs."

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Patients in the emergency room at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth are getting moved to different facilities after a water leak Sunday.

The leak has not impacted the health or safety of patients currently in care at the hospital, according to spokesperson Jennifer Robinson.

She said until the leak is fixed, the hospital is working with other emergency medical services to ensure patients are taken to the facility that "can best meet their needs."
