A contractor was putting a new roof on a portion of the hospital when some of the roofing materials caught fire, Chief Jim Hoffler said.
The call came in around 10:56 a.m. and the fire was out by 11:10 a.m.
There were no injuries and the hospital wasn't evacuated.
There was "no real damage" to the hospital, Hoffler said.
