PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Portsmouth community is honoring one of its most influential leaders with a street named in her honor.
On Saturday, dozens of people showed up for the unveiling of L. Louise Lucas Drive. That's at the corner of Victory Boulevard and the former TCC Drive outside of Rivers Casino.
It's named after Portsmouth native, state Sen. Louise Lucas, who's been in state office since 1992.
