PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Portsmouth on Tuesday night.
According to the Portsmouth Police Department, dispatchers got a call asking police to come to the 1700 block of Piedmont Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. When police got to the scene, they found a man with serious injuries. Medics took him to the hospital.
No suspect information has been released.
