PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man is in the hospital after he was shot Tuesday morning in Portsmouth, police said.
The shooting happened around 9:44 a.m. in the 2700 block of Airline Boulevard, near the McDonald's. The Portsmouth Police Department said an adult man was taken to the hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound. Police did not say how serious the man's injuries were.
There's also no word on what may have led to the shooting, or if there are any suspects.
