PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire early Tuesday morning.
Portsmouth Fire, Rescue, and Emergency crews responded to a residential structure fire in the 30 block of Farragut Street around 1:30 a.m. When crews arrived, they found flames coming from a two-story multi-family complex.
Crews from Portsmouth, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, and Chesapeake initiated an offensive fire attack. They had the fire under control and officially marked out at 2:24 a.m.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
