PORTSMOUTH, Va. — UPDATE: Portsmouth police said on Tuesday afternoon that 12-year-old Elijah Harris had returned home safely. No other information was given.

Portsmouth police are seeking information about the whereabouts of a 12-year-old boy, who has been missing since Christmas Day.
Investigators are searching for Elijah Harris, according to a release from Lt. Jeffrey Branch, a spokesman for the Portsmouth Police Department.
Harris was last seen around 10 p.m. Monday near the 2600 block of High Street.
Police say he is about 5-foot-4 and 120 pounds and was last seen wearing black jeans, a black long-sleeve shirt with an orange design, and black, white and gold Nike tennis shoes.
