PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Nearly seven months after a 66-year-old man was gunned down in Portsmouth, law enforcement is calling on the public to help locate a person believed to be connected to the case.
In a release on Saturday, Portsmouth police named 37-year-old Janet Kingsbur as a person of interest in the April 27 homicide.
Michael "Charles-B" Roberts was found shot outside his home located on Portsmouth Boulevard and Frederick Boulevard just before 11:30 p.m. on April 27. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man suffered injuries in the shooting but survived.
