One missing Portsmouth teenager found, search continues for second teen

Police say 13-year-old Chase Brown is back home, but they are still looking for 15-year-old Hector Acosta.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — One of two teenage boys who went missing in Portsmouth on Sunday has been found safe and returned home, but police are still searching for the second teen.

The Portsmouth Police Department said 13-year-old Chase Brown and 15-year-old Hector Acosta were last seen around 4 p.m. July 28 in the 2900 block of Arcadia Avenue.

Police confirm that Chase has since been found, but they are asking for the public's help to locate Hector.

Hector is 5'7" tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He wears his hair in a ponytail and was last seen wearing a pink and white hoodie and possibly gray Jordans.
