PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man was hurt in a shooting in Portsmouth early Friday morning, police said.
The shooting happened in the 3900 block of George Washington Highway. Officers responded around 1:30 a.m. after getting a report of a person shot during an argument, according to the Portsmouth Police Department.
Medics took the victim to a hospital to be treated for injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
The Portsmouth Police Department didn't share information about any possible suspects. The shooting is being investigated.
