PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man was seriously injured in an early Sunday morning shooting in Portsmouth, according to the Portsmouth Police Department.
Around 2:46 a.m., authorities responded to a call about a shooting in the 300 block of High Street.
Officers said when they arrived, they found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
