PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man was shot and taken to the hospital due to a shooting Thursday afternoon in Portsmouth.
Police responded to the 1200 block of Highland Avenue for a reported gunshot wound victim who was transported to the hospital, says Portsmouth police.
Investigators are currently determining the circumstances of the crime.
