PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man was injured in a shooting, the Portsmouth Police Department said.
Portsmouth police responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 1400 block of Maple Avenue at 7:20 p.m.
When officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital.
PPD is still investigating this incident.
