PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man is dead after a shooting in Portsmouth Wednesday night.
Portsmouth police say that around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, they responded to 3600 Gateway Drive. When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound.
Medics responded to the location and attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
