PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Police are looking for a man in connection to a deadly shooting in Portsmouth on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Portsmouth Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect captured in surveillance footage. The suspect is a black man, last seen wearing a military uniform and goes by Malik. Investigators are also looking for a car connected to the homicide, a white Jetta with Virginia license plate TMK7068.
According to the Portsmouth Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at 2800 Airline Boulevard at around 1:25 p.m.
When police arrived, they found Andrese Jennings, 24, critically injured with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
