PORTSMOUTH, Va. — UPDATE: The Portsmouth Police Department said Jamar Pettaway was found safe.
The Portsmouth Police Department is looking for a missing 14-year-old.
Jamar Pettaway was last seen last Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Race Street. He was seen wearing a blue bubble coat with a burgundy hoodie underneath.
According to the Portsmouth Police Department, Pettaway is wanted and has a detention order out of Suffolk. Police did not specify what he is wanted for.
