PORTSMOUTH, Va. — One person has died and another person has been injured after a crash Thursday evening, the Portsmouth Police Department said.
Portsmouth police responded to a two-vehicle crash on 164 westbound near the West Norfolk exit around 7 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found two individuals suffering from injuries. One person was transported to the hospital. The second person died from their injuries at the scene.
164 westbound was closed shortly after 7 p.m. and reopened around 2:45 a.m.
