NORFOLK, Va. — Two people have been arrested after a shooting in Norfolk sent a woman to the hospital.
Norfolk police say that on Sunday, a little after 4:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for a report of a walk-in gunshot victim.
When police arrived, they found a 19-year-old woman with a non-life-threatening graze wound.
The investigation revealed the shooting happened in the 3300 block of Flanders Avenue.
Further investigation led police to charge 19-year-old Deandre Lee of Norfolk with malicious wounding, shooting into an occupied vehicle, four counts of attempted malicious wounding and four counts of use of a firearm.
They also charged 21-year-old Jasmine Johnson of Portsmouth with malicious wounding, four counts of attempted malicious wounding and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
They are both being held at the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Detectives haven't released any additional details about the incident.
