NORFOLK, Va. — A woman has been injured in a stabbing on Monday, the Norfolk Police Department (NPD) said.
NPD responded to a call reporting a stabbing at a home in the 6200 block of Wellington Street around 8:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to the hospital.
About 30 minutes later, detectives arrested Anita King-Bowen, 49, on the 900 block of Jognstons Road. She is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
