NORFOLK, Va. — A woman has been injured after driving into Booker T. Washington High School, the Norfolk Police Department said.
Norfolk police responded to a call reporting a car hitting a building at 1111 Park Avenue around 4:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found the driver, a 21-year-old woman, injured. She was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The building was damaged during the crash.
Police said charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
