NORFOLK, Va. — A woman is dead after a crash in Norfolk Tuesday night.
According to the city, first responders were called to the 300 block of E Ocean View Avenue around 7:50 p.m. after receiving a report of a pedestrian crash.
When officers arrived, they said they found the woman in critical condition and took her to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities have not yet revealed the woman’s identity but said they will once her next of kin has been notified.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
