UPDATE 12/11: A search warrant obtained by 13News Now reveals that investigators may now be looking to charge 37-year-old Tameka Moore with first degree murder.
According to the search warrant, when a state trooper got to the scene, he found Moore in a wooded area, crying and hysterically looking for a person she struck with her car. She reportedly smelled like alcohol and her eyes were bloodshot and watery. The trooper then asked her if she was sure she hit a person and not an animal. She then stated, "Yes, it was my husband." Police searched that wooded area and eventually found Karl's body.
The warrant also indicates that Karl Moore was on the phone with his business partner at the time of the incident. After interviewing that person, it was revealed that Karl had called his partner for a ride, because Karl and Tameka had been fighting.
