NORFOLK, Va. — A water leak at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk caused damage to elevators and nearby patient care support spaces on Tuesday morning, hospital officials said.
According to the hospital, seven patient rooms were impacted, but patient care has not been disrupted.
There could be temporary inconveniences, such as visitor restrictions and blocked walkways, in the coming days.
"As we work on clean up and repairs over the next few days, our focus remains on patient and visitor safety," the hospital said in a statement.
