NORFOLK, Va. — A man has been arrested in connection with a mid-April stabbing that happened in Norfolk.
Norfolk police say officers responded to the 800 block of N Military Highway on Saturday, April 13 around 3:25 p.m. for a report of a stabbing victim.
When first responders got to the scene, they found a 25-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital.
After investigating, detectives have charged 44-year-old Ramont Jackson of Virginia Beach with malicious wounding. Jackson was arrested Saturday around 1:25 a.m. in the 1100 block of N Military Highway and is currently in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Police say he's also facing additional charges unrelated to the incident.
