NORFOLK, Va. — Fire crews put out a fire at a vacant home Saturday night in Norfolk.
According to Norfolk Fire-Rescue, firefighters were called to the 1000 block of Barney Street, off of Tidewater Drive, just before 8:30 p.m. Officials said neighbors reported the fire and arriving units found smoke and flames quickly spreading to the attic.
The fire was brought under control in about 25 minutes. No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
