NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police are investigating a weekend shooting near Norfolk State University's campus.
Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, police were called to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for a report of a walk-in gunshot victim.
The man had arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Detectives determined that the shooting happened in the 700 block of Marshall Avenue around 10:11 p.m.
Police have not said what may have led to the shooting or if they have any possible suspects.
