NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Fire-Rescue was called to the 1300 block of Oakmont Court on Thursday, just after 5 p.m., for a residential fire.
When they arrived, they found that smoke and fire were coming from the living room. After nearly a half hour, they were able to contain the fire to that room.
There were no injuries reported, because nobody was home at the time. NFR said they are unsure of how many people will be displaced since, as of 6 p.m., no one was able to be contacted. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
