NORFOLK, Va. — A toddler who was abducted from New York and believed to be possibly in Virginia has been safely located, authorities confirmed to 13News Now.
A Missing Endangered Child Alert was issued for 3-year-old Kadence France by Virginia State Police (VSP) earlier on Monday. They did not release where in Virginia the toddler and adult might be.
Virginia Beach Police Department later confirmed the child was found safely in New York Monday afternoon.
Before being reported missing, Kadence was last seen in New York City on Saturday with 26-year-old Randalae Rhodes. VSP reported the two could have traveled to Virginia. The disappearance poses a threat to their health.
No other information was immediately released.
