NORFOLK, Va. — Police said they expected a man to survive after someone shot him Wednesday morning along part of East Brambleton Avenue.
Emergency dispatchers received a call about the shooting in the 300 block just before 10:20 a.m. A supervisor said that one person had been hit by gunfire. Medics took him to the hospital.
Norfolk police said the man's injuries weren't life-threatening when medics took him from Young Terrace.
Officers taped off East Brambleton Avenue at St. Paul's Boulevard as they investigated what led to the shooting.
