It's the end of an era at Foreman Field on Saturday.
After the Oyster Bowl game between VMI and ODU, the stadium will get a sendoff with music and special guests featuring current and former Monarchs football players.
The stadium will be demolished next week as it goes through a $67.5 million renovation.
The new Ballard Stadium is set to open Aug. 31, 2019.
A short video of highlights of the stadium's past will be shown and then the stadium's old lights will be turned off, followed by a short fireworks display, ODU said.
