NORFOLK, Va. — Two roads in Ocean View were fully reopened after a water main incident Tuesday afternoon.
The City of Norfolk said East Ocean View Avenue and 2nd Bay Street were reduced to one lane in each direction. Motorists were advised to use Pleasant Avenue and Pretty Lake Avenue as alternate routes.
Norfolk's Department of Utilities said that some customers may not have water while the repair is being made, and that some others might be experiencing "lower than normal" pressure.
The department is working to isolate the issue to a small number of customers. It also confirmed that this incident is not connected to the one at Waterside Drive.
