NORFOLK, Va. — The wait is nearly over! One of Hampton Roads' most anticipated wine events is back with premium award-winning wine, including some of Virginia's top wineries.
Wine lovers will get a chance to enjoy more than 200 fine wines at this year's Fall Town Point Virginia Wine Festival in Norfolk.
Organizers say the festival "promises aspiring sommeliers and everyday wine enthusiasts an unforgettable experience steeped in tradition."
The event will feature wine samplings, artisanal crafts, local food trucks and vendors, and live musical performances.
Plus, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, the fest is holding the Somm Social VIP Tasting in a private chalet with waterfront views. The intimate experience features premium award-winning wine samplings, education discussions with licensed sommeliers, and artisanal finger food and charcuterie.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 22, with samplings ending at 4:30 p.m. and wine sales ending at 5 p.m. Tasting tickets and table reservations can be purchased online.
