On Tuesday morning, the NSO gathered at the loading dock outside Norfolk City Jail in order to load vehicles in preparation to deliver meals to people, churches and agencies throughout Norfolk. They delivered 100 turkeys, 50 turkey breasts and a large variety of sides.
"For more than 10 years, the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office has been donating and delivering turkeys during the holiday season," said the sheriff's office in a release. "It is the mission of the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office to make a positive difference in the lives of others."
