NORFOLK, Va. — 2 people have been displaced after a fire broke out around noon on Thursday.
A spokesperson for Norfolk Fire-Rescue says that the fire on Lenoir Circle started around 12:30 p.m. When they arrived they saw smoke coming from the roof of the home.
Two dogs were rescued by Fire Rescue crews.
The fire was declared as under control at 1:00 p.m.
An occupant was evaluated for smoke inhalation on scene but was not transported. No injuries were reported.
Two adults and two dogs have been displaced due to the fire.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue did not release the cause of the fire.
