NORFOLK, Va. — A Norfolk police officer was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with stalking.
Francis Bodner, 50, is assigned to the Detective Division. He has been charged with stalking, possession of stolen property and computer trespassing.
On Tuesday, a woman known to Bodner reported to police that Bodner stole her property and was stalking her. As a result of the investigation, Bodner was arrested.
He was released on a $1,000 bond.
Bodner, who has been with the Norfolk Police Department since 2005, has been relieved of duty pending the outcome of the criminal trial and administrative investigation.
