NORFOLK, Va. — A woman has been arrested and charged in connection to a Sunday afternoon shooting in Norfolk.
According to the Norfolk Police Department, they responded to reports of shooting in the 9500 block of 19th Bay Street around 3:50 p.m.
Neighbors who did not want to appear on camera told 13News Now that they heard voices and then gunshots. They also said the number of incidents lately has made them consider moving.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, police arrested 21-year-old Corean A. Clement of Norfolk. She faces malicious wounding, use of a firearm, and domestic assault charges, and is being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
