NORFOLK, Va. — The City of Norfolk is entering its second phase for its master plan coined NFK2050 Comprehensive Plan.

The city will be holding open houses that will feature "engagement stations" with activities for children and an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts.

Among the issues that the city is seeking input on are housing, economic development, parks, transportation, and placemaking.

There will be seven sessions spanning from late May into early June.

"These workshops are designed to engage Norfolk’s residents and stakeholders around the NFK2050 Comprehensive Plan and are intended to help understand residents’ needs and their ideas for making the City better," a news release stated.

Each session is open-house style allowing residents to drop in when they can. Details about each session can be found below.

  • May 29, 4 – 7 p.m., Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads – Sewells Point Golf Course (660 Ruthven Rd.)
