NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to a fire at the 800 block of North Military Highway on Wednesday, officials said.
When crews arrived they found smoke and flames coming from a room on the second floor. Crews got the fire under control at around 6:58 p.m. without it spreading to adjacent rooms.
No one was injured. Guest affected were assigned other accommodations.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
